SPD-Compatible Commuter Shoes in E/EE Width — Any Recommendations?

Do you know anything about the EE width or EE width in SPD compatible commuter shoes that you can wear all the time? Since MTB shoes are impossible, the choice is to either prepare a spare shoe at work or give up the clippless pedal you love.

My son always wears adidas.

Disc, tubeless, electronic speed, bead head nymphs are not handled.

I don’t know what kind of work I do, but I don’t want to wear SPD cycling shoes all day. It’s really annoying. I used to put shoes at work.

However, Shimano also makes wide-sized shoes. I have been wearing shimano SPD shoes for many years in 4E sizes.

At the age of 16, I realized that I could secure the required width (10 EEE) by choosing one size larger than the normal size (11 D). The extra length is completely out of mind. This method has been applied to dress shoes and sports shoes for decades. Cycling shoes can be bought in European sizes, but they are almost the same. It is much easier to find almost any (unreasonable) reasonable length imaginable. Finding a little wider than usual requires both good and witchcraft, and even worse, complete dead spirits.

When I tried this, a spindle hit the bottom of the toe.

There were times when I was lost on the platform and SPD. But I tried SPD a long time ago. The fit of shoes may be one of the reasons.

The important thing in selecting the size of the lake boot is to check the size table of the official site and actually identify the model of the wide specification. I accidentally bought 303 Winter Boots, but although it was displayed wide, it was actually close to medium width in the size table. My feet were cold until I changed to a wide-sized winter boot.

Thank you for your comment. I am the leader of the school’s brass band department. You don’t walk too much, but you need to move to the toilet, office, or other classrooms from time to time. We have wide-width MTB shoes, but “commuting” and “touring” shoes often have flexible soles and deep grooves suitable for walking. I used to use commuter shoes 32L Shimano MT, but not wide width, now every time I wear a standard width shoe, inflammation caused by friction and symptoms of external antimatter are starting to emerge.

Leaving shoes for change at work is a reasonable solution, but if you can, you don’t want to.

Yeah, but only a select few are available in wide, and my search doesn’t come up with any “casual” styles.
