I was considering buying it but when I went to an authorized retailer I was surprised by the high price. I thought it would be around $4500 but it was listed online as $4500. How can I get it so cheap I saw a YouTube video where someone ordered it online had it shipped and assembled it at home. However the authorized retailershop I visited said I had to purchase and assemble it there. Theres conflicting information so can anyone confirm this
Ive heard that Surron is restricting individual purchases of the 2025 model and recommending purchases from dealers. However some people still believe theyve purchased 2025 models on Alibaba. However the dealers are clearly setting the prices high. This could be due to tariffs or because the 2025 Light Bee is currently hard to come by. Or they could simply be unscrupulous dealers trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible surprise. In any case I wouldnt pay the Light Bees asking price. For that price you can get a pretty decent used modified Light Bee on Facebook Marketplace. Or try ordering from Alibaba searching the sub will give you recommendations for excellent Alibaba suppliers. Ordering from Alibaba is a bit risky at this point as it could incur tariffs but Im not sure how it will turn out as many people have recently received their bikes duty-free.
I bought a 2025 model LBX on Alibaba for $3600. The Ultra Bee is available for $6700.
I ordered from Boca Scooters and the bike arrived in three days. Shipping: 4600
6700 You can get a better bike for less.
My local motorcycle shop has the entire lineup on display for $4600 but assembly and documentation fees may apply. It could easily cost upwards of $5000. For me I chose the Falcon Pro for legitimate reasons and the powertrain remains unchanged. If I want to upgrade later I can buy LBXVentus 1 parts right away.
I think that Lightbee had the SKU number of Ultrabee
As a motorcycle in 2025 the Lightbee is simply too expensive. There are better options available at lower prices. For that price the Ventus v1 including shipping and taxes offers performance that would cost thousands of dollars to upgrade to a Surron. Ventus 79bike Goat Srpent UltraBee MX5 Eride etc.
There are plenty of new unused items in the neighborhood for $4000 to $4300. This is in the Bay Area.
Now that the purchase process is finally complete Ill comment. I ordered the Model Light Bee from Alibaba in the second week of May 2025. It arrived in the second week of June for a total of $3200. There were no additional charges.
$6700 is a strange price. In the USA its only available for 3000 to 4000 pounds. I bought a new 2025 model for 2900 pounds.
Ive heard that Alibaba suppliers ship with Delivery Duty Included DDP meaning all import fees are handled by the supplier.
Is Alibabas gonspeed a reputable site for ordering I thought the surrons were made in the USA
