E-Bike Display Error 02: Controller or Sensor Issue

The problem is that “display indicator error 02” is appearing on the LCD display.

I replaced the motor because I thought it was the issue, but when I roll it backwards, it judders. I bought a new motor, but that didn’t fix the problem. I unplugged the controller from the BB pas sensor, and the screen went off and wouldn’t turn back on until I plugged it back in. However, after I unplugged the controller completely from the bile, it wheels backwards freely. Is it my controller problem? Thank you.

Either you blew the MOSFET in the controller (probably) or it is short in the motor cable (not). Sometimes the bullet connector melts on the controller end of the motor cable and causes short. It’s a pretty common problem, so take a look there first.

If the motor cable damage is not found, you can check the MOSFET with a simple resistance check on the meter before buying a new controller.

You should have asked before spending money.

He doesn’t have the latest curry with commuters.
Therefore, he is not sure if Suntoures BB PAS is Candence or Torque. The remaining Suntours kits are difficult to use and cost around £120.00.

Therefore, the cranks that come with the six-pin PAS have a new stock set and a used or new controller to fit the bicycle.

If we can’t identify the problem he can always send me his BB and controller and I will test them and supply him the parts he needs.

Do not send components back and forth.

Alright, so I just had an idea. The most recent Carrera Suntours Crank and Pas is a torque sensor that operates on light.

Does that imply that a Candence sensor would be a Suntours BB PAS sensor? Does this imply that there is no light used inside the BB?
