Aventon Aventure M Review: Impressive Auto-Shift, Hill Assist & Security Features

Auto shift and auto hill assist are very good features. I do not understand why other companies do not adopt safety measures like rear hub blocks.

However, I really like this bike.

At the moment it’s just a dream story for them. If you look at the bike, you can clearly see the cable and it is described as CUES 10 speed. This is currently not an electronic component, such as the Deore XT Di2, which is compatible with the EP801 motor and provides automatic transmission. Do not feel that you intend to collect customers and leave them after all. If you eliminate thick tires and gimmicks, you may have the potential to ride as a decent bicycle with low initial costs.

The reviewers I follow think differently but thanks for your opinion

Do you sell Aventon at your shop?

That is true. We know which parts are electronic and which parts are not. The CUES group set is not an electronic variable. How do you realize automatic speed change with a group set of mechanical cable operation? Ask the reviewer you are following how it is possible?

Thank you for your reply. Choose affordable bicycles at any time from the most expensive custom-made bicycle shops. Well, that’s my preference.

If you look at the budget only from an ultra-narrow viewpoint of pure initial price, and do not consider anything else, surely everything is too expensive and you can buy something suitable on eBay. However, the bicycle purchased at the bicycle store comes with a long-term warranty and support, which is very valuable. I know these bicycles look attractive just by price and short-term reviews. Electric bikes are fun, really fun. The first few times are all fun. However, it is during long-term use that such fun fades, and manufacturers are not interested in customer support or product support at all. Even if you support it, the response is slow, the quality is minimal, no expert opinions, send the wrong parts over and over again to waste time.

Believe me, this is my job. Although we have seen hundreds of different brands, there is a reason why Bosch-powered bicycles have a higher initial cost than suitable motors on bicycles somewhere in the manufacturer. This is not about fraud or excessive pricing, but because parts and support are reliably provided when problems occur 11 years later. Bosch is supported by almost any store, but it is likely to be rejected as an unnamed part. It is a natural correspondence, and because there are only a limited number of engineers that can be repaired, it becomes a feat to repair on its own after all, it is not a fun task.

I am a beginner and I am learning a lot while reading this thread.
Your last words evoked nostalgic memories. Because my father always said, “I can’t buy cheap things.”

Since anbikes Aventon should have a shift motor installed remotely somewhere, although it is electronic, I think it is still cable operated. All they can tell is that the rear derailleur shift cable is in the chain stay. It does not rise to the handlebar, and it is guessed that it is in the shift mechanism (controlled by the controller and button of the handlebar) around the bottom bracket.

They will not want to pay the cost because the full electronic shifter with the motor in the derailleur is very expensive with the latest technology. There is already a huge mid-drive mechanism in the bottom bracket, so there is enough space.

Aventon is not as bad as it used to be. They have been improving their products all this time. If it was not so bad in terms of quality, we would have partnered with more than 1800 bicycle stores.

bc2025 The rear lock hub is quite clever, but it is uneasy that it is electronic control. For the same function, simple key lock is better. The risk of the entire bicycle being damaged due to electronic parts failure and the idea of selling a new bicycle if repair is troublesome is not favorable. A subtle balance.

Economics and other improvements in scale are not necessarily cheaper. Advice from a prejudiced person is only an individual’s opinion. Access electricbikereview and read the opinions of forum members.
